Neck Liposuction

Neck Liposuction

What is it?

Neck liposuction is a surgical procedure aimed at removing excess fat tissue in the neck and chin area.

It helps improve facial contours and creates a more refined and youthful appearance.

What are the indications for neck liposuction?

Elimination of a double chin, including cases of fat deposits in the neck and chin area that do not disappear after weight loss
Giving the face a more defined appearance
Improving the contours of the lower jaw and neck if skin elasticity is preserved (without significant sagging)
Restoring harmony in the face and neck area

What techniques are used for neck liposuction?

Classical (vacuum) liposuction

Standard technique for removing localized fat deposits.

Ultrasound liposuction

Use of ultrasonic energy to break down fat cells, making them easier to remove.

Laser liposuction

A laser beam breaks down fat, which is then removed through a cannula. The laser also promotes skin tightening.

Tumescent liposuction

A special solution is injected before fat removal to facilitate aspiration and reduce blood loss.

How does the neck liposuction procedure go?

01 Preparation for surgery

Consultation with a plastic surgeon: assessment of neck anatomy, skin condition, and determination of fat volume.

Tests: complete blood count, coagulation markers, ECG, and other tests to assess health.

Pre-surgery recommendations: discontinue certain medications (anticoagulants), avoid smoking and alcohol 2–4 weeks before the procedure.

02 Anesthesia

The surgery is performed under local anesthesia or light sedation, depending on the extent of the intervention.

03 Incisions

Small incisions (usually 2–3 cm) are made in inconspicuous areas, such as under the chin or behind the ears.

04 Fat removal

A cannula (thin tube) connected to a vacuum device is inserted under the skin.

Fat tissue is broken down and removed using vacuum aspiration.

05 Completion

Incisions are closed with fine sutures or left open for natural healing

A compression bandage is applied to the neck to support tissues and reduce swelling.

Are there any contraindications for neck liposuction?

If you have the following conditions, the procedure is not recommended:

Significant skin sagging (a neck lift may be required)

Systemic diseases (diabetes, cardiovascular pathologies)

Infectious diseases or inflammation in the surgical area

Blood clotting disorders.

Additionally, it is advisable to postpone the procedure during pregnancy and lactation.

How is recovery after neck liposuction?

01 First few days

Swelling, bruising, and mild discomfort are normal

Wearing a compression bandage for 1–2 weeks is recommended.

02 Within 1–2 weeks

Most of the swelling subsides

Avoid physical exertion, and sleeping with your head elevated can help reduce swelling faster.

03 After 3–6 months

The final result becomes noticeable

The skin adapts to the new contours.

Neck liposuction is an effective way to get rid of fat deposits and restore clear facial contours.

We recommend consulting with our experienced surgeons to achieve the most effective and long-lasting result.
